Longstone Primary 📘🐶✍️📚

A big thank you to Longstone Primary school in Edinburgh. It was a pleasure to read to P1,P2 and P3 on Thursday 25 February.This was followed by a question and answer session with the pupils about my book The Adventures of Millie and Me- The Lost Glove . The story generated questions on caring for dogs. The P1 pupils were pleased to meet my cuddly toy version of the real Millie . The children had some interesting questions to ask about the process of writing a book. The P3’s talked about writing stories in class and the teachers reminded then about planning first.The children wanted to know if I had illustrated the book . They were keen to have more of the story read than the 3 chapters I delivered . The class teachers made me feel very welcome and the pupils were all very well behaved, listening attentively throughout.
