Colinton Primary 📘🐶✍️📚

A big thank to Colinton Primary school in Edinburgh.
It was a pleasure to read to P1,P2 and P3 on Thursday 30 November. This was followed by a question and answer session with the pupils about my book The Adventures of Millie and Me- The Lost Glove . The story generated questions on Santa as Robin is given a tank full of tropical fish one Christmas. The children wanted to know when I started reading and what my favourite book was when I was a child. The P1 pupils were pleased to meet my cuddly toy version of the real Millie . The children had some interesting questions to ask about the process of writing a book. The children were fascinated to find out the story is set in Colinton where many of them call this location of the city of Edinburgh home.The children were keen to have more of the story read than the 3 chapters I delivered . The class teachers made me feel very welcome and the pupils were all very well behaved, listening attentively
