Bonaly Primary πŸ“˜πŸΆβœοΈπŸ“š

A big thank to Bonaly Primary school in Edinburgh.
It was a pleasure to read to P1,P2 and P3 on Thursday 23 November. This was followed by a question and answer session with the pupils about my book The Adventures of Millie and Me- The Lost Glove . The P1 pupils were pleased to meet my cuddly toy version of the real Millie . The children had some interesting questions to ask about the process of writing a book. The children were fascinated to find out the story is set in Colinton where many of them call this location of the city of Edinburgh home . The story generated many questions on having a dog as pet and the care involved. The class teachers made me feel very welcome and the pupils were all very well behaved, listening attentively throughout. One of the P1 pupils wanted to know if there would be a second book? And if so could Millie meet a fairy Princess? It is rewarding to see how the book sparks ideas in the pupils .
